Task Timer is a Kanban board where every card has its own timer. Plan your work as cards, focus on one
at a time in timed sprints with breaks, and let the board move cards for you as timers start, stall and finish.

Frequently asked questions
How do I start a sprint?
Open a card and tap Start. The card moves to In progress and the timer runs through
focus and break phases. Only one timer runs at a time.
I don’t get an alert when a sprint ends.
Allow notifications for Task Timer in your device’s Settings → Notifications. On a muted phone the app
can vibrate instead; check Settings in the app for Vibrate when silent.
Where are my boards saved?
On your device only. Use ⋮ → Save board as… to save a board as a file. On iPhone and iPad the files
are in the Files app under On My iPhone/iPad → Task Timer. On Android they are in the app’s folder
(Android/data/us.customizedtech.tasktimer/files/boards), reachable over USB.
How do I move my boards to a new device?
Save the board as a file, copy the file to the new device’s Task Timer folder, then use ⋮ →
Open board….
Can I change the columns?
Yes. Choose a template (Kanban, Extended Kanban, Scrum board, Simple list) or rename, add, remove and
reorder columns. You can also set a card limit or a goal on a column.
Does Task Timer need an account or internet?
No. It works fully offline. The only thing it ever sends is an anonymous crash report if the app crashes.
